Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 10, 2026

The short version: RowNest has no accounts and no logins. Your projects and row counts stay on your iPhone. We don't run ads, we don't track you across apps, and we don't sell your data — ever.

Who we are

RowNest ("we", "us") is an independent iPhone app that helps knitters and crocheters count rows and track projects. This policy explains what data the app handles and why.

What stays on your device

Your projects, counters, row counts, and settings are stored locally on your iPhone. We do not have a server for your projects, and they are never uploaded to us. If you delete the app, this data is removed from your device.

Purchases

When you buy RowNest Pro, the payment itself is processed by Apple — we never see your card details. To unlock and restore your purchase across reinstalls and devices, we use RevenueCat, a third-party purchase-management service. RevenueCat processes a randomly generated, anonymous app user identifier together with purchase and receipt information and basic device details (such as device model and operating system version) solely to validate your entitlement.

Analytics & advertising

RowNest does not include third-party advertising SDKs, and it does not track you across other companies' apps or websites. We do not sell or share your personal data for advertising.

What we don't collect

Children

RowNest is a general-audience app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data retention & your choices

Because your projects live on your device, you control them: edit or delete projects in the app, and remove everything by deleting the app. Purchase records held by Apple and RevenueCat are retained according to their respective policies.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
